On 27-30 April, Prof. Cyril O’Connor, Director of the Centre for Minerals Research at University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa, visited BGRIMM. Dr. Zhan Kai, BGRIMM Vice President, held a meeting with the guest. The two sides explored the possibility of cooperation in flotation reagents. Staff members from BGRIMM Mineral Engineering Division and International Business Dept. were present. After the meeting, Prof. O’Connor visited Mineral Engineering Division and later during his stay in Beijing paid visits to Chinese Academy of Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) and General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals (GRINM).
