Along with the durative reformation of the Chinese economic system, the external affairs of our
institute has changed from the former simple "invite in and send out" tenet to the multifaced
and extrovert management engaged in technology, industry and trade. In recent years, because
of the increasingly frequent international technology exchanges and being visited by more
and more renowned foreign experts, BGRIMM sent more professional technologists overseas for
study and intercommunion. President Sun Chuanyao and Vice-President Wang Xuguang are engaged
as academicians of St.etersburg Engineering Science Institute, Russia. Beijing Mineral &
Metallurgy General Corporation, which obtained independent international managing privilege
in 1993, entered domestic and foreign market with independent corporative qualification. It
does not only established various types of joint ventures, co-operative enterprises, maintaining
and demonstration service organizations with Russia, Kazakstan, the USA, Germany, Finland,
but also engaged in the booming technology and product export, overseas scientific research
and works contracting and the businiss alike. We have entered export contracts for magnetic
materials with Germany, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hongkong, we also export mineral
processing equipments to Mongolia, Finland, Tanzania, Australia and Bolivia. It has also
entered contract for emulsification explosives product technology and taken the construction
offering key project with Kazakstan, Mongolia, Germany, Sweden and so on.
